Undergraduate Events

The department offers regular opportunities to experience the pleasure of a diverse and vibrant intellectual community, and an undergrad Comp Lit Colloquium featuring the best papers written in Comp Lit Courses.

  • The annual Comparative Literature Undergraduate Colloquium reflects the wide-ranging and innovative scholarly work produced by our undergraduate majors. Featuring a selection of the best papers written in Comp Lit courses in a given year, and judged by a panel of faculty and graduate students, it offers undergraduate students an opportunity for the highest level of professional recognition in their field.
  • The student-run Comparative Literature Mentor Committee brings undergraduate students into regular conversation with graduate students and faculty through a series of extracurricular events outside the formal classroom setting. Events such as Trivia Night, Film Night, and Performance Night offer opportunities to gather and exchange ideas over food and drinks in social fellowship.
